There is a lot to unpack from the Titans 2021 NFL Draft. There is no doubt they got some really good players that will help the team. My biggest question is the overall strategy that was employed Shannon Sharpe Pillow Cover. I know the defense was terrible last year and needed to be upgraded. They were able to do that, especially with the picks of Caleb Farley and Elijah Molden. My biggest issue is that they lost some key pieces in the passing game. Look, we all know the offense goes through Derrick Henry and the run game, but what happens when a team is able to shut King Henry down You need the passing game to step up, and we saw how much trouble they had doing that last year in the playoffs against the Ravens. They needed to add another threat at either receiver or tight end that could step in and play right away. I don think they did that in the draft. There are still some free agents out there that could help and some guys that are rumored to be available via trade. Maybe Jon Robinson has something in the works there. Time will tell. Mel Kiper has passed out his grades for the 2021 NFL Draft. He gave the Titans a B- for the weekend. Here are part of his thoughts on the the draft class:The Titans parted ways this offseason with cornerbacks Adoree Jackson https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Von_Miller_Flag-701, Desmond King II and Malcolm Butler, all of whom played a lot of snaps for them last season. They brought in Janoris Jenkins, but cornerback was still their biggest need. They got a great one in Caleb Farley (22), who is the best man-to-man cover guy in this class but dropped out of the top 20 because of a couple back injuries. Tennessee clearly felt OK with his medical re-checks, and he has a chance to be elite if he can stay healthy. But his career will make or break this class. I also liked the team taking Elijah Molden (100) in Round 3 because the 5-foot-9 corner could play as the nickelback early. He had five interceptions in 2019. Usual disclaimer: Grading a draft before year 3 of that class is dumb Quinn Meinerz T-Shirt.
