Hysteria Fest is kicking off the new year with Cabin Fever, an electrifying evening of horror cinema and exclusive announcements to heat up the coldest of nights. Taking place at the Arkadin Theater, the event promises to thrill film lovers with a stacked program featuring acclaimed short films, a secret screening of a ‘70s cult classic, and a glimpse at what’s to come for Hysteria Fest 2025.


For just $15, attendees can enjoy an incredible lineup:

Shorts Block: Featuring Jessica Barr’s SXSW hit, Tight, alongside Chris McInroy’s Skeeter, the latest from the director of festival favorites Guts and We Forgot About the Zombies. These films, plus several others fresh off major genre festivals like Fantasia and Fantastic Fest, make for an unforgettable cinematic experience.

Secret Screening: A 1970s cult classic about high school revenge, guaranteed to leave audiences buzzing.


Special Announcements: Attendees will get an exclusive preview of the main Hysteria Fest 2025, set for July 10-13. Plus, those at Cabin Fever will have the first opportunity to snag discounted badges for the festival—details will be shared during the event.
