IMAX and A24 announce early screenings for WARFARE and a new monthly screening series.
A24 and IMAX bring WARFARE to theaters early, launching an intense real-time war thriller experience.

Action fans, get ready—IMAX and A24 have announced early access screenings for WARFARE, the explosive, real-time war thriller from Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland. Starting April 9th, audiences nationwide will get an early chance to experience this intense, immersive story in IMAX.

Initial reactions to WARFARE have emphasized its gripping, cinematic impact—making the IMAX format an even more essential way to experience it. Written and directed by Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland (Civil War, 28 Days Later), the film follows a Navy SEAL platoon on a surveillance mission that spirals into chaos. Told in real time and rooted in firsthand experience, WARFARE brings a visceral, boots-on-the-ground perspective like never before.

Alongside WARFARE, A24 and IMAX have also launched a new monthly screening series, bringing some of A24’s biggest titles to IMAX for the first time. The series kicks off with Spring Breakers, screening tonight, with more cult favorites on the way.

Check IMAX’s official site for screening locations and upcoming titles, and get ready to witness WARFARE in the most immersive way possible.
