Shudder has unveiled its latest supernatural horror offering, 825 Forest Road, from Hell House LLC creator Stephen Cognetti. This marks Cognetti’s first departure from found footage and the Hell House LLC franchise, venturing into a chilling new haunted house tale.
Starring Joe Falcone as Chuck Wilson, the film follows a man moving his family to Ashland Falls for a fresh start after tragedy. However, their new home harbors dark secrets, as they uncover the terrifying hauntings of Helen Foster. A ghostly presence that has plagued the town for decades, Helen’s spirit is bound to an unknown address—825 Forest Road. As the hauntings intensify, Chuck races against time to uncover the location before it’s too late for his family.
Premiering as part of Shudder’s Halfway to Halloween celebration, 825 Forest Road will debut exclusively on the platform on Friday, April 4. Shudder’s Head of Programming, Sam Zimmerman, expressed excitement over Cognetti’s return, calling the film “a twist on a haunted house tale that will stay with you long after the credits roll.”
Written and directed by Cognetti, the film is produced by Joe Bandelli, Dana Guerin, and Cindi Rice, with executive production by John Frank Rosenblum for Epic Level Entertainment.
